Participants Notes

  1. Participants should read the ‘Notes to Participants’ thoroughly before participating in this programme.
  2. Participants should follow and agree with all the terms and conditions of this programme.
  3. Participants should read the Personal Information Collection Statement. All personal data are kept  securely and used only for the purpose of registration of this programme.
  4. Any enrolment of a participant under the age of  12 must be accompanied by his/her parents/guardian.
  5. The organiser has the right to terminate or pause the registration progress.
  6. Participants must ensure that they are physically fit to join this programme, especially those who are pregnant or with chronic diseases, like heart attack or high blood pressure.
  7. Participants should take advice from their doctor if he/she is not feeling well before the programme.  Please note that a first aid  station will be available at the venue (Chater Garden).
  8. Public Liability Insurance and Group Personal Accident Insurance are covered by the organiser.
  9. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies separately, if necessary.
  10. In the case of an extreme situation (e.g. floods, wildfire, landslides, fallen trees, earthquakes, road damage and fighting, etc.) , the programme will be temporarily halted, delayed or cancelled.  Participants will be evacuated to a safety zone.
  11. Adverse Weather Arrangement：
    • Gale Or Storm Signal No.8 or above　Or　Black Rainstorm Signal:
      If the signal is issued 2 hours before the programme, the events held at Chater Garden (Celebration Ceremony and Green Market) will be cancelled.  Checkpoints operated by the related parties will make their own decisions.
    • -Strong Wind Signal No.3　Or　Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted ：
      If the signal is issued whilst the programme is in progress, the programme may be cancelled or continued, depending on the actual weather conditions. Checkpoints operated by the related parties will make their own decisions.
  12. The decision of the organiser shall be final, binding and conclusive. The organiser website will be up to date with any programme changes.
  13. The organiser reserves the right to amend or clarify the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
